The Milford Track is considered one of the crown jewel hikes of New Zealand. It can only be walked in one direction over 3 nights and 4 days, staying in huts along the way. It is 1 of 11 Great Walks of New Zealand. You will need a permit to go on this hike. Permits are released a few months ahead of the hiking season and can sell out within minutes.
